but my deposit is in. am i doomed to dobie?

I think housing might be able to generate a new contract for you.

You can only ask.

If they are willing to generate a contract for you, you will know they are willing to give you space. (Supplemental housing, maybe)

supplemental filled early this year from what I'm seeing on the facebook group.

I wouldn't say doomed to Dobie...there are a lot worse places you can live, like the Goodal Wooten.

its all good, the deadline was apparently extended for cap complications, and it's on file now

You guys make dobie sound like a terrible place to stay. Is it really that bad?

No Dobie is not that bad. It's probably one of the two nicest off-campus dorms that guys can stay at (besides Towers, which isn't especially nice in its own). Hardin and SRD beat all of the boys options by a mile.

Dobie's major problem, I hear, is that there aren't enough elevators for people to get up and down efficiently.
