I was going to apply to Seattle University as my safety, but I didn't see that the application had to be turned in by 1/15. The supplement is due on 2/1 so I assumed that the application would be as well... I sent in the application this morning (1/17/2009), but oh well. Should I find a safety with a late deadline or do you think that I'm OK with this list?

Recs/Essays: Recs are going to be VERY good. I will be getting them from my APUSH teacher/Social Justice teacher. I had an epiphany of sorts during my Social Justice class last year where I discovered that I really want to get involved with international relations so that I can become a lawyer and represent those that are marginalized in society. My essays and my rec from my social justice teacher show this pretty well.

Senior Year Classes:
Euro History AP
Pre-Calculus
Spanish 4 AP
Gender Roles/Literature
Human Geography AP
Conflict in The Modern World

All of these classes are academic and UC A-G courses. I have dropped science this year and am instead following my interests by taking three social science courses.
I also go to one of the oldest Jesuit colleges in America. It is located in San Jose, CA and is one of the most competitive schools in the area. Will this help for BC? A fairly high number of students get accepted to highly selective schools like MIT, Caltech, UCLA, UCB, Harvard, U Chicago etc. on a yearly basis as well.

Thanks!
