I Missed The Psat Please Help!

Okay guys, this is an EMERGENCY.

I happen to own half a brain:

The PSAT was today, and I, Junior, thought it was for practice for the SAT. Thus, did not take it.

Only about an hour after the test was done for the people who took it, was I informed that it was for National Merit.

Is there ANYTHING I can do now? Any make up date anything?

Omg thank you so much guys!

Im freaking out.

OK...breathe...you will live longer. I just checked college board's site:http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/psat/about/missedtest.html
Look it up, and follow their suggestion-G'Luck!

How you didn't know it was for National Merit I will never know... I mean, even the kids who don't care about the SAT know the PSAT is for National Merit.

^ don't be so harsh! some schools don't tell kids...my brothers had no idea what it was, and they go to a great private school (sucky guidance department though)

Armando, people who don't frequent CC (the majority of the HS population) often know very little about college admission. Especially at crappy public schools.

Not sure but can't you just go to an alt testing site that is testing this Saturday?

Wow, yeah...no one really knows much about the PSAT at my school...much less the SAT.

yeah, our school did not bother telling us about the national merit aspect of it, because they dont expect that anyone will score that high.

to metdeth, i am pretty sure that you can go to another school and take it on saturday. go here and find a nearby school that administers it on saturday. i am almost positive that you can show up and take it on saturday, but call the collegeboard and the school that you want to take it at to be sure.

Member of public school here, and on the back of previous PSAT scores it tells you about National Merit... Teachers don't even know much about it, but throw it out there occasionally to sound like they know something. It's common knowledge here.

Isn't the other test date on the 20th

///yes.///
