i need a career

Basically what the title said. I’m 20 years old whose turning 21 in January and I still have no idea what I want to do for a living. Right now, I’m in community college taking General Studies but sometimes I feel embarrassed when someone ask me what my major is. I’m interested doing forensic science but I’m not to sure yet. The problem is that I keep changing careers ever since high school from doctor to police officer to nurse to engineer to paramedic. I currently work part time at Dunkin Donuts but I don’t want to work there for the rest of my life making minimum wage. Lately I was thinking about joining the Air Force but I don’t know, it looks interesting because I just to do something different in my life since all I do is go to school, work and home. I feel like I’m wasting my time in school and it’s just so much pressure now than it was 5 years ago.

Does your school have a career center? You could go there and work with a career counselor to assess what kinds of careers are right for you, maybe including military service. This might give you more career focus.
