Could somebody help me out?

they started already

they probably started awhile ago

but from what others said, they start on Nov 28.

oh well ;) what difference does it make if they started 2 weeks ago, or today.

why would they wait until nov 28th? that doesnt make sense

because they were doing administrative work on all the apps until then, sorting and stuff. It takes several weeks. Why does it matter? If you want to send soemthing else, send it: theres a fair chance they haven't looked at your app yet, in which case if the material arrives before they do look at the app, the material will be included as a factor in your decision.

November 14th is when they started--straight from a dean's mouth. I visited on that day and she said they're suppose to start reviewing the applications arts and sciences have received today, but she said it might be post poned a few days since a lot are still coming in.

So what date is it exactly?

change your username to "worryingaboutadmissionsalldaylong"

ha ha ha..very funny

i bet you worry too ;)

Hi:
are you guys talking about early decision or regular? Does it behoove my daughter to get her regular decision app in well before the deadline? Gosh-- we had thought we had a bit of time left to refine the essay and check details....

This is early, regular decision applications won't be viewed until mid to late January.

dayvessel,

I believe they review RD apps as they come in...I was told that if applying RD, it was maybe a bit better to send it in early, as your app won't come in a box with 1000 other apps and may be able to make more of an impression on the adcom.
