I need a little help!

First off I'm from the state of Michigan... that would make it a lot easier to go to U of M or MSU for half the amount out of staters have to pay. However I'm interested in getting into Political Science or International Relations, most likely the latter.

U of M I hear has a great Political Science program but I have no idea how great. What goes on there? What types of Internships are there? Jobs after graduation? I'm really concerned about that too... I want a great job after graduating and am willing to do whatever it takes to get a job within my degree!

On the other hand...MSU has a International Relations major through the James Madison sector of their college. It's supposed to admit only 300 freshman a year. MSU also has one of the largest study abroad programs. But I don't really know how it compares to u of m or other colleges.

So I guess I'm just wondering about U of M and if MSU is also a good choice. I'm visiting American University this summer and that's also up there on the list.
What other colleges are wonderful in political science or international relations???

bump.....I'm dang serious here

Can't go wrong with UM. Some others are Tufts, Gtown, GWU at twice the cost.

Some great schools for International Relations:
Brown University
Georgetown University
Johns Hopkins University
Princeton University
Tufts University
University of Pennsylvania

Some great schools for Political Science:
Columbia University
Duke University
Harvard University
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Princeton University
Stanford University
University of California-Berkeley
University of Chicago
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor
Yale University

Any of those schools will get you where you want to go...in style!

MSU is a great safety, if you are a good student. But there is no way I would pick MSU over any of the schools listed above.
