I want to study civil engineering in college and I follow AQA system in my school and I will take SAT exams for application. I wanted to know other than chemistry, maths, physics and English literature are there any other subject that you would suggest for me to take and I wanted to know if ICT is a necessity.

Why would you post this thread in the Harvard forum? Harvard does not even have civil engineering. As for your questions, I am sorry I don’t recognize the terms AQA or ICT.

Your use of the term “maths” for mathematics (instead of “math” as it’s usually called in the U.S.) suggests that you’re an international applicant. Your questions regarding AQA and ICT, which aren’t familiar terms to us, might be more recognizable on CC’s “International Students” forum.

Here’s a list of U.S. schools which offer Civil Engineering:

If you go to the websites of schools in which you’re interested and look under the links for “prospective students”, “admissions”, or “applying” you should be able to find the specific course requirements for the school. Good luck!

Gadad- always civil, gracious and helpful, I nominate you for a CC Peace Prize!
