I need a part-time job?

Alright so senior year is almost half way over already, and I'm guessing I'll have alot of time on my hands after Christmas break when I've sent all my college apps in. I've been looking recently for a part-time job for some cash, but I don't really know of good places to work. Since I'm a sports and shoes kind of guy, I tried Footlocker, Finishline, and some other smaller shoes and sports stores, but none of them seem to ever hire. I'm willing to work anywhere else even if they aren't shoe stores or athletic stores, but I REFUSE to work in restaurants.

Oh, and if you work/have worked part-time in high school, would you mind stating where you worked?

I work at a retirement home but its as a server:P I know oberweis, depending where your from, is pretty flexible as far as hours. But i dont know if you would consider that a “restaurant” type place. I know my friends are just going from store to store at the mall lol. If you have friends maybe they can help you out, connections always help. Thats partially how I got my job. Good luck:)

You missed your big chance, tons of stores hire a ton of part time workers before black friday. They’re seasonal jobs, but I know two of my friends just got hired within the past week or two at Best Buy and Target.

Otherwise, I’d just keep on sending in applications. If you don’t have any prior work experience it’s going to be hard to get even an interview though.
