I need a private loan for tuition/books. How?

Trust me, I did a favor to everyone looking for this information. I was in the shoes of someone searching for answers, and I wish people had followed up on threads they started, which is the reason I did and will continue to. Thanks for your concern.

I don’t know this, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t. Regardless, I’ll get looking for scholarships at the start of next semester and see what I find.

More followup: The loan actually was NOT more than I needed at ALL. It turns out I have to pay a MONTHLY fee to live in the dorms, on top of a MONTHLY fee for their bogus meal plan. DO NOT BUY A MEAL PLAN. I would have saved myself over $500 because meal plans are absolute ripoffs. When I realized how ridiculous it was that I was literally giving them money so they could turn around and give me less to eat on, I canceled for a $175 cancellation fee, which was another surprise to me.

So I’m renting a house with a guy next semester for much cheaper than it costs to live in the dorms ($360 vs $500), and I’ll be getting a job to make money for food (since the loan money will actually run out before the end of the semester).
