I need a private loan for tuition/books. How?

That is so unfortunately true… I have a suspicion that it is the intention of the university to deceptively lead students into signing contracts. I had NO idea it was going to cost a monthly fee. I couldn’t find a price anywhere. I even called them to find out specifically the cost, and I somehow managed to get off the phone and still not know. None of the transfer students I made friends with were aware of the recurring charges either, not for the meal plan OR the dorm.

It should have been assumed, I know. But the thought had not crossed my mind that the significant restrictions and general inconveniences of living in the dorms and having a meal plan would actually cost MORE than renting my own house and buying my own food. That is very bold of OU to so obviously rip people off, yet there are plenty of students who still have no idea just to what extent they are being screwed out of money. I have friends who give me their unused “meal exchanges” every week, which are worth $7 at any on-campus restaurant, which my friends are paying ~$10 a piece for, and which don’t roll over at the end of the week!!! It’s infuriating.
