I need advice, quick.

Sorry if my topic is in the wrong section, but I need some quick advice.

I have two days until the AP english essay deadline and I have a couple of questions.
My school's cirriculum is brand-new and it sucks... there's about two APs (english and history) in the entire school and I didnt take any APs this year (i'm a junior) because if I take AP english, then I can't take Precal. I was wondering if i should bother applying for the AP english class in senior year. I have to read and write an essay in two days so I need advice quick!
Do the colleges really care if u take APs in your senior year? Should I bother takin the class? thanks in advance guys.

You should take the class....especially if your not taking the most rigorous courses your school has to offer (the 2 ap's) as a junior...

but its in my senior year, would it make a really big difference? and it's just one AP class, not like 5 or 6. does it really change anything? and this AP eng class might also drop my GPA

IMO..which could be wrong...it will show colleges that your still taking rigourous classes and still trying to learn not just say hey, junior year is over lets stop caring...

Take the hardest classes you can. Colleges just don't look at your GPA. They also look at the classes you took. Think of the Validictorian who only took General classes and that's how they got to be a validictorian. Not too impressive.

i had taken only 1 ap when I applied to Stanford even though my school offers every single one and classes for many of them. And I only took 1 my senior year so that's 2 total. (i got accepted btw)

Edit: I'm not a urm, athlete, rich, or famous
