I Need Advice..What school to choose

Right now I am torn between going to either Depaul University or Rutgers-NB (I am also awaiting the decision from my #1 reach, UW-seattle). I am aware that Rutgers is the better ranked of the two, but I really loved Chicago and the vibe I got from Depaul. Depaul seemed to have a very good office for placement in the many internships available in Chicago which is a plus, but Rutgers is very close to our nation's largest city. I also worry that the campus life at Depaul will lack in comparison to Rutgers as many students are commuters or go home on weekends from what I hear. I plan on majoring in economics/finance and then possibly going on to law or getting an MBA.
Which would be the best route for me???

Is financial aid an issue?

Not really…btw I have been offered a scholarship for $11000 for DePaul

If the money isn’t an issue, go to the school that you liked most when visiting.

Go where you feel happiest! You’ll be more successful if you’re really
comfortable in the environment.

*Not really…btw I have been offered a scholarship for $11000 for DePaul *

DePaul costs about $43k per year. You’ve got an 11k scholarship. If your parents are happy to pay the other $32k per year, then go to DePaul. If they won’t, then go to whichever school they will pay for.

you’re OOS for Rutgers, right? It would cost about $38k to go there.

yes its not so much an issue of finance but that I am concerned DePaul may not be as well regarded as Rutgers. Would choosing DePaul have an effect on future job prospects or admissions into grad school?
