I need advise about GS and PCS pls.?

Hi,
I applied to GS this year, early action, I have very low chance because of my situation. I am a permanent resident in NY but I was born and raised in Istanbul, my mom from Azerbaijan. I had long gap in my education due to political issues such as military Coup.

Back in those days, high school system was completely different but anyway I have average GPA but I got high score from national university entrance examination, kind of SAT but longer and more subjects, I got into one of the top 3 university but I could not finished at all, my parents divorced and my brother diagnosed autism, anyway long story, shortly,I worked at airport for years, and I am scriptwriter now.
I haven't heard from GS admission office but I am thinking to apply to Fordham professional studies. It sounds very flexible for adults like me. I live and work in new york and I need to find non traditional program to complete my degree but I like to get into a good school. I can't find alumni or reviews about Fordham PCS, my other option is probably Cunyba, interdisciplinary program.
So, I am thinking to get high gpa from PSC or Cunyba and maybe tranfer to GS.

Do you have any advise or idea about this programs ? Fordham PCS or Cunyba ?

I was referred to Columbia GS by some alumni actually. If I don’t get in I’ll be falling back on Binghamton and Stony Brook of SUNY which are still outstanding schools. You could also try NYU as the education and networking there is also world class. I’m applying to NYU and Columbia both with regards to their GS programs. NYU calls it the Professional School and a majority are veterans with decent backgrounds wanting to aspire for higher careers and education. I thought IVY was for brainac nerds who will discover Atlantis or invent a car with anti gravity. I was told different. Great GPAs and SAT scores are not really the main requirement and can even stop you from getting admitted. I still hear it’s a 24% acceptance rate. I don’t know what they rate you on but I guess it’s tough.
