<p>So I started out CCC with a 4.0 but after my first semester I endured a year worth emotional turmoil and my gpa shot down. Now currently I have a 2.1 but this fall I took 27 units and took a semester off from working. I know/am confident that I can salvage my gpa up to a 3.0, after the end of this fall semester. But with all that being said, can I apply to the UC's for Fall 2009? </p>

<p>And I don't know if it makes any difference that I was eligible for the UC's in high school, but I was. </p>

<p>Please help me out. My intended major is in the Social Sciences.</p>

<p>You dont apply to "social sciences" Pick one.</p>

<p>Your GPA is WAY to low right now, the thing that would be on your app is that 3.0.</p>

<p>Do you have any TAG agreements signed?</p>

<p>It is your best bet to sign some TAGs and transfer in at least winter 10 or spring 10, ideally Fall though.</p>

<p>What UCs are you interested in- they are not all equal</p>
