I need an honest evaluation

I want to know if this would be good enough for Georgetown as a 1st year transfer:
HS GPA: 3.4-3.5/4.0 4.3-4.4/5.0 weighted
12 college courses, IB Diploma from top rated IB program in North America
Mu Alpha Theta Member, Chess club Member, NHS member
High School ECs lacking due to 515 hours of community service teaching children to read and the fact of having a job ~25 hours week
SAT I: 1330(old didn't finish last 2 sections; fell asleep lol....don't ask) will retake and get at least 2200+ or 1500 on CR and M. Is this necessary?
SAT II: None

Here's my schedule for my freshman year of college at University of Florida

Semester 1:
Russian I
Italian I
Microecon
General Psych

Semester 2:
Russian II
Italian II
Macroecon
Calc I

I can guarantee a 4.0.
Russian major...will this help my chances?

I can write exceptional essays as transferring to Gtown is not only a desire but a must on many levels; personal(I want to do the best for myself and I was born and grew up in that area), academic (UF has a tiny Russian department, and downsizing and possible omission are imminent due to unpopularity), family. I am fantastically motivated to leave my current institution. I also have distinct and clear cut professional and academic goals which I can display in my essays and hopefully an interview.

Fortunately the small size of my Russian classes will help me become extremely personal with my teacher and I promise my work ethic will get me at least a few solid recommendations. I will try a few clubs, such as Russian club and Academic team, and will participate in intramural sports.
Thanks.

i learned a while ago it's not a good idea to guarantee things.

U can't predict illness, injury, misfortune. Or any other event that can effect ur grades.

The only thing u can guarantee is death.

Thx, ok then, let's say I get at least a 3.9, which at UF is very doable. What do you think?

you're applying to the college right? not SFS . . . SFS is much tougher

In my opinion (whatever that's worth), I think you have a pretty good shot if your essay's are good and specific, the grades must be there, but EC-wise you sound fine (keep your job, community service).

something to think about:
maybe you should email a professor in Georgetown's Russian department, ask for advice, etc. and build a relationship . . .
that might give you material for your essay, give you perspective, or just help you later . . .

good luck

yes, college since I'm a sophomore, and thx. anything or anyone else?

I will apply for the college as a sophomore.*

bump.......

bump......

bump......

well if ur college gpa will be 3.9gpa....i think u have a good shot~
