<p>ok well heres my profile:</p>

<p>Uw average: 87.25
W Average: 91.125
Rank: 170/417
-Grades are going into a very upward trend
-Expecting to get 90 overall during my first semester of senior year
-Taking College Level Enlish, Spanish, and Contemperary Business, as well as a class in computer litaracy the second semester in which I will recieve a certifacte stating I am a professinal at Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and such =D</p>

<p>Ec:
-Chess Club member (4 years)
-Horticulture Club Founder and President (2 years)
-FBLA Club member (Senior year)
-36 hours of volunteer work at the hospital
-Working on a project for a local museum about aviation (senior year)
-Working with the New York Islanders to create/advertise/sell offical team merchandise (senior year)
-Tutoring (4 years)</p>

<p>-Fairly Strong Essay about the difficulties I faced when creating the Horticulture club. (demonstrates leadership, determination, and commitment to the community)
-2 good recs, in 1 of which the teacher will discuss the project im working on for the local museum about aviation.</p>

<p>** For the NY Islanders thing im working on, i will be a part of about 10 students, who will basically create thier own company, and have 10 heads of departments (president, vp, head of marketing, etc..) So I have the interview this Friday for that, I will find out then, im confident i can go for president or vp seeing to my leadership skills demonstrated in creating and managing a club at school (no other candidate has done so =p). So i will add that to my app, should look good =)</p>

<li>Hofstra University (hoping for a scholarship)</li>
<li>St John's University (hoping for a scholarship)</li>

<p>Now If i dont get a scholarship Baruch is my only option, im looking for about 5 more colleges to apply to.</p>

<p>List of things i like:
- College be in New York (not upstate)
- College be good in business
- College be less than 30,000
- Some good Cuny and Suny would help =)</p>

<p>Hoping that you guys can help me find some good colleges, my guidance counsler is of no help what so ever, hes recomending me to go to adelphi and molloy, both of which are not famous in business. So Idk, plus he says im find with 4 apps.., i believe he's lazy. O well im hoping fo ryour help! Tyvm!</p>

<p>NYU lol man, its 50k a year, i cant afford it plus they dont give first year scholarships. Not that I would be able to achieve one if they did, or even get admitted to the college, but thnx for posting guys</p>

fordham is 35k too ...</p>

<p>The scholarship part is going to be tough. I would look at Iona, Manhattan and the SUNY and CUNYs.</p>

<p>I think you're being too picky with the whole "has to be in NY, but not upstate" thing...........but what do I know, my criteria is that it needs to be within 1/2 an hour of surf in a warm climate (Socal/FL/NC) :D</p>
