Dear you guys, I am new around here and I have attended university in China. Now I am attending a CC to transfer to a university. My goal is UC system, like UCb, ucla, uci, ucsd, ucd... I have about 25 transferable semester units accounding to pre-evaluation of some university. I am planning to transfer to UC for Fall 2007. However, when I will Apply in Nov, what I will have is just units in china and two semester (FALL 2005 & SUMMER 2006) in CC. Only about 35 transferable semester units overall andm y gpa will be about 3.0. What will be my prospect? Is it too weak when I apply? I can finish all the admission requirement (including 60 units, gpa, etc) by the end of spring 2007. Is ok I just finish all the requirement at spring 2007? After fall 2006, I will have at least 46 transferable semester units and my gpa will be 3.2. Which gpa will UC use for my admission purpose? gpa through summer 2006 or fall 2006? Which university would have a better chance for a 3.2 gpa for econ major? And do I still considered as CC transfer, for When I apply in Nov, I just attend fall 2005 and summer 2006.
I just come here, so I do not have much experience in the united states, I would really appreciate if you guys can can give some advices.Thank you so much!
