<p>I'm a PC user and I'd like a laptop for college that isn't too expensive. I don't really think I need a lot of features, besides the basics (I'd also like to watch videos/have a large music collection, but if that raises the price too much, I can do without that). I know nothing about computures/the features they come with, so I may ask a lot of questions.</p>
<p>The college you go to will typically have "recommended" computer/configuration. Buy that one. The IT support people will be able to help you if something goes wrong. They also usually offer it with a school/student special price.</p>
<p>Well I would suggest getting an external HDD no matter what computer you get. This way you can save any and all files in one central place, so it doesn't matter what computer you have or are using.</p>
