I'm planning on taking 3 SAT Subject Tests on June 7th, and the registration deadline is Tuesday, May 6. I am trying to decide which tests to take.

I've pretty much decided on Literature because I'm good at it. I had a 36 on ACT Reading.

I should probably also take Math 2, since I've had pre-calc. How can I best prepare for this, since it's my worst standardized test subject?

The third one is the one where I need help. I'm open to Spanish (not listening because it's June), History (which is easier, US or World?), or maybe Chemistry. I like Physics better, but my school's Physics teacher really sucks, and I really haven't learned enough in that class to be able to take Subject Test. It's May and we're still covering rotational forces. No thermodynamics, sound, or light energy will be covered. I have the same Chem teacher, but I feel like I could prepare more easily for Chem.

Which test should I pick as my third test, and how should I prepare with so little time left?

Just note that literature is a lot harder than ACT/SAT reading

I would probably say do Chem or Spanish

I would just sign up for any tests you have in mind right now.
On the test date, you can take whichever tests you like, regardless of what your ticket says.

I personally thought I was ready for the Chem test, but when I saw the material in the Princeton Review, I decided not to take it. My friend told me, that Spanish is really easy. If you're good with the language I would take that over Chem.

For math 2, you should look into polar coordinates maybe, well, only a small portion of the test will cover that. If you're strong with algebra and geo, I'd take math 1, but Collegeboard isn't so generous with points. :(

I'm also taking AP Lit & Comp this week, and I've done pretty well on practice tests. I wouldn't think the SAT Literature would be harder than AP.

Isn't there a disadvantage to Math 1? I thought the better colleges really preferred Math 2. My class covered polar coordinates and I'm comfortable using them. I also placed first at a recent local math contest, so I think I should go ahead and shoot for Math 2. I suppose I can always switch to Math 1 on test day.

Any more suggestions please?

I was really surprised about the US History subject test. It was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. So I wouldn't recommend taking it unless you have a pretty sufficient amount of time to prepare.
Everyone always talks about how spanish is super easy. I am going to take it in Sept, or November. So I would say if you're comfortable with your spanish go for that one.

I registered for Lit, Math 2, and Spanish. Thanks for your help!
