I Need Help Deciding Between UGA & Georgia Tech

This is my first post on CC.

Anyways, I have about two weeks left to pay my commitment fees but I have trouble deciding on which college to choose. My two choices are UGA and Georgia Tech.

Here's what I like about UGA:
-UGA is a real college town. I want to be able to have and enjoy a college experience. Also, I want to discover myself and become more outgoing and confident/talk to more girls (GT is 3:7 girl:boy ratio unfortunately).
-It's supposedly A LOT easier than GT (obviously)
-I really want to enjoy my four years of college (I said this already but this is really important)

GT:
-GT has an amazing biomedical engineering program (this is what I want to major in)
-GT is more prestigious and a degree from GT will look better for getting a job
-I will have no problem finding a job if I go to GT
-Graduating from GT will start me at a higher salary than UGA will

Oh yeah, I also plan on going to graduate school to get my masters. CC, please help me decide what I should do ASAP! Thank you!!!!

I don’t know if this is allowed but… bump?

Have you visited both campuses? Can you and your family afford both schools? Which do you feel is a better “fit” for you? They are completely different college experiences, but don’t assume you won’t have any fun at GT. And too much fun at UGA might derail your gpa and plans for grad school.

Are you a “city kid” at heart, or can you learn to be streetwise and appreciate the GT campus in the city? There are going to be clubs and ECs and social opportunities at both schools, but the campus locations are so opposite. I suggest you think on which campus type you prefer.

If you haven’t visited both campuses, you really must see them both in person to appreciate the difference.

Good luck to you! Either choice is going to give you a great college experience!
