While applying to college, the two majors I am interested in are biology and either business/finance/accounting/economics (I choose the one that is strongest in college for the second part). I do plan on not stopping at undergrad, but my grad program is very unclear. I am stuck with either doing law school, business school, or medical school in the future. Can you give me help on what to choose for my first major? Thank You!
You can major in anything at all and still go to med school. You just need to fit all the pre-med requirements into your plan of studies. They will be looking at your overall GPA, your GPA in the pre-med classes, your MCAT score, and your medical volunteering/job shadowing or the like.
You can major in anything at all and still go to law school. They will be looking at your GPA and LSAT score.
You can major in anything at all and still go to business school for an MBA. They will be looking at your GPA, your GMAT or GRE score, and your years of increasingly responsible work experience after college graduation.
So yup. Biology, economics, dance, classical languages, accounting all could work just fine.
