I am not really a "school" person. The only reason why I do well in high school is because I know I have to go to college. Honestly, the kind of school I want to go to is a school where you go and learn, but you can go back home and work or explore the area you live in. I know that college isn't like high school in a sense where you won't necessarily have to be stuck in a classroom and you still have freedom. But I want to basically go to a school that is commuter in a good area such as San Francisco or Denver. It has to be a traditional 4 year university, because I actually do want to go, I just don't want it to be too "in my face". I would love to be in the California state. I want to be a full time student and everything, but I don't want it to be like I live in school or I'm constantly engulfed in school. Does this make sense? Do you guys know any schools like this?
Thanks in advance!

What can your family afford for school? UCs could cost $50K+ for an OOS student.
