informations.

2) <--- Great School...

But

9) is better..

Go to 2 unless u get into 9

Stern is the clear #1. Wonderful choice, hope you get in. Then it gets harder, Bentley for location? CMU for overall rep. Indiana is a decnt b program if you can live with the location.

NYC is the capital of the world and certainly the capital for business and commerce. Strongly consider studying in the middle of it all (NYU, Fordham) unless you think it is not the environment for you.

Just to offer some 'objective' input-US News Rankings:

NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES-
22. Carnegie Mellon
32. NYU
37. Rochester
52. Syracuse
70. Fordham
71. Indiana
86. American
106. SUNY Stony Brook

REGIONAL UNIVERSITIES-NORTH
1. Villanova
8. Bentley

Which school out of the 6 have the strongest business curriculum? What is Regional Universities - North? Villanova is not ranked on the national?

I'd say go with NYU Stern obviously if you get in without a question. However, if you don't it's a mix between schools. I'd say if you want to be around people who love to think about school all day head to Carnegie Mellon which also has the second highest ranked business program on the list.

I would then pick between Bentley, Indiana, Rochester and Syracuse. Indiana's business school is also fantastic if you don't mind living there. Then I would choose Bentley because of the location and resources that are available. Also that Bentley attracted the most Fortune 500 companies to recruit last year then any other school in the northeast including the Ivy's. THen I would pick Rochester followed by Syracuse.

I would then as a last resort go to Villanova, Fordham and Stonybrook because those three have the least strongest business programs and none are known for business. Although Villanova may have the best reputation out of the three the business program is far behind in the rankings.

2. Of course NYU or CMU is more preferrable, but assuming that you're rejected (not that you will be of course :)) it offers a good well-rounded education, which Bentley doesn't. If you find business isn't for you, you're stuck in between a rock and a hard place. Indiana has a decent B school, as do the others on the list, but Villanova would be a very close second on my list.

I spoke with a freshman at Villanova University and he said that Villanova Commerce and Finance business program is ranked around Stern, MIT Sloan, upenn wharton, and so on... What's that all about?

Wharton and Stern are in a class all their own really, now I know Wharton is better than Stern, but they're both excellent, and for undergrad, you really can't do much better. Once you get into grad school though, that's not necesarily the case

lets just say the Villanova freshman you spoke too didn't know what he was talking about.

Look at this link: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=40431

It is a list of all the undergraduate business programs and you can see that Villanova is VERY far down on the list and is far from being a great business school. Bentley is ranked much higher and so is Indiana, CMU, and Stern.

NYU is 5
CMU is 6
Indiana is 11
Bentley is 57
Villanova is 104

Quite frankly, I want to go attend a college with a beautiful campus and campus life, great library, a lot of sports, and all those good stuffs...

at Villanova you will everything but great campus life. If you do not fit in to the white/upper-middle class/frat/sorority crowd. It might be different...

At Bentley you will have everything except for Division I ahtletics bu their division 2 teams are some of the best in the nation.

Bentley is a good school? I never visted that school... only interested cus they offer business programs.

yes it is a good school for someone who wants to do business.
