hi, i am currently a sophomore (1st semester) is MSU, Montclair state U, in NJ. i am trying to transfer to a good premed school. so far my major is undeclared, but i decided to take biochem as my major. my first year in school i was undecided so i just took GEN-ED courses, and now i started to take CHEM and math classes. the problem is i am doing good in chem (understanding the materials) but my teacher is a horrible grader and im getting D/Cs. i study hard but the teacher gives weird tests, and the class average is 64. even the teacher confirmed that. so i was thinking to drop this class, cuz its better to get a "W" then a C or a D for my transcript. but i already have two "W" from two semesters. first was a worst english teacher and the second one was because i joined the wrong class by accident. so the question is, is it bad to have withdrawals in my transcript when i transfer? what should i do?
i have so many questions, ill ask one by one
thank you in advance

its not helpful, but if it comes down to that or taking the c or d, definantly take the W the c or d would cripple you

i already have two W. and if i withdraw this would be my third one. isnt that really bad??

I would suggest you meet with this teacher at ofc hours. Ask for guidance in what you can do to improve your performance in the class. If the class average is 64.... is the prof planning to curve the final grade? This is often done in science classes at 4 yr universities; perhaps it will be done here.
