I Need Help; It's About Translation

Hey guys, I’d appreciate If you could give me an advice. In order to send translated documents to universities, is there any requirement about who should do the translations ? I am really disappointed with the sloppy staff of the local EducationUSA office, they are always late and they do not want to accept school documents which are clearly signed by my school’s principal, saying that they aren’t official. To sum up, I would like to know what documents can be translated by me or my school’s English teacher and which others it is necessary to have a legally official translation (something the local staff of EducationUSA is really bad at). Thank you, I really need this information. I would translate my own transcripts, which then would be signed and authenticated by my school’s principal before sending them to universities. What do you think ? Will universities accept them ?

I would contact each school’s admissions office directly and ask about their protocols. The rules may vary from place to place. I doubt there is a single standard.

can be translated by you or English teacher, a slong as verified by school AND uploaded by GC.

The key piece is that it goes directly from the school to the recipient, without passing through your hands, for the obvious reason that the temptation to do a bit of editing is too much to resist for some students.
