Hey guys. So my schedule for senior year has been messed up. two of the classes I signed up for meet at the same time. The dilemma is that Calculus meets only 7th period. AP Gov meets only 5th and 6th periods and AP Econ meets only 5th and 6th periods. Spanish 3 meets only 6th and 7th. So now I don't know what to do. I might not be able to take Econ (which is bad, cause it's 2 AP credits :/). Or I might not be able to take Spanish 3 (colleges require 2, but recommend 3.. some even require 3.. or 4!!). any help here? thanks!

Wow, sounds similar to the dilemma I had. Well, can you see if you can take Spanish 3 over the summer and even though you won’t get the credit, you could get a recommendation from a spanish teacher saying you successfully completed the class? Also, if you can’t do that, I would suggest trying to sign up for CC classes, like Calculus? It seems like spanish is the problem here, so I would suggest trying to move that around or try to take that at a CC. Hope that helps!

Take calc at CC. Spanish 7th period. Problem solved.

Or take Econ at CC and Spanish 6th, Calc 7th, and Gov 5th.

^That too. Usually math are the easiest to take at aCC though.

woo ! i got it figured out. thanks guys!

i’ll take econ at a cc, and have ap gov 5th period, spanish 6th period, and calc 7th period.

instead of econ, i’ll take ap world instead. good choice? ap world will be 4th period… then everything will work out!

is your econ required for graduation?

Are you sure the Gov and Eco are both semesters? Here, they’re offered at the same period because they are one semester each so one in the fall and the other in the spring.

Also, make sure any cc classes you take will dual for hs requirements for graduation.
