I need help NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually just have a question on the CHC essay prompt:

Critically evaluate one important aspect of your educational experience to date. Among your options are a book, a course, an individual, or a significant experience that influenced you in a meaningful way. Then, in light of your discussion, briefly indicate how the University of Oregon might shape your future education.

Does "significant experience" mean one single thing (ie "when i went to the science fair"), or can it be more broad, like "growing up in a diverse environment has taught me______." I want to talk about how much I learned growing up in a remote area with definite ethnic polarization. Think that would be ok, even though it's more of a gradual process?

Sounds to me like that would be just fine. They say an important "aspect", and then go on to list some "options" -- I think your essay addresses what they're asking for very clearly. Just my opinion.

It's kind of a lame question, to be honest, but it sounds like you have a great angle to take on it.

ok, thanks! I actually called the honors college yesterday, and they said it could be a more broad angle as well. thanks though :)
