Hey, So far i've been accepted into New Paltz, Oneonta, Binghamton, Ithaca, and Skidmore. I like all these schools for different reasons. I'm really into a small school with a good reputation where the professor will know my name, but i just don't wan to ignore Binghamton because of its Rep. I'm also looking to have a great social life in college as well. Any advice on how to choose a college thats right for me?

I also forgot to include Stony Brook as well. I have until May 1st to choose a school but i want to begin the process of choosing a college.

Have you visited these schools? That might be the best way for you to decide where you feel most comfortable.

If it makes you feel any better, I attend New Paltz and every professor I’ve had knew my name. (whether it was a regular class or a lecture).

But truthfully, regardless of what school you attend, the only way for a professor to know who you are is by talking to them. By that I mean making appointments to meet with them, talking to them after class, etc.

Hey! Honestly, no matter what class size you have, if you want a professor to know your name you can just talk to them. My boyfriend attends Stony Brook and the classes have 500 + kids; meanwhile his bio professor and chem professor both know him by his first name because he goes to them with questions.
