I NEED HELP Villanova or Lehigh

I have been accepted to Lehigh, Villanova and Penn State engineering. I have ruled out PSU. Now I need to decided between Lehigh and Villanova. I was just taken off their waitlist. I am getting similar money to both schools. I am a chemical engineering major with a double major or minor in businessWhich one is better?

Warrick, great combination of degrees/minors

Lehigh is the school

by the way, which school took you off the waitlist?

both?

i was taken off of villanovas.

i was taken off of villanovas. and i am leaning toward lehigh

Ok i live about ten minutes from Lehigh. I have been told that if you go to Lehigh you either have to be rich or an athlete. There are really no other groups besides them and everyone else has a hard time. Lehigh has the double major program with engineering and business. I spoke to the man that helps run that program he came to our school to speak about the global economy he was a very interesting guy and would help anyone if they wanted to get into Lehigh. I personally chose PSU for engineering.

Haha. Do you always believe everything you hear?

If I lived in PA, I would have gone with PSU, but alas I live in NJ, and Rutgers isn’t as good as PSU.
Both Lehigh and Villanova are respected in the tri state area. Villanova is near philly and is a catholic college, so you might want to consider if you like that or not.

I visited Lehigh and saw the people and I agree with being “rich or athlete”. I’d ask about financial aid and got the oddest looks and comments. All the girls seemed sorority like, even if they weren’t in one. Seemed like either jocks or those stuck-up nerds that hate jocks.

lucky, Lehigh gives very generous financial aid

It does (they’re administrator kept telling me so), but not a lot are on it. I only met one girl on it my entire time there and I asked a lot. They’re kinda like “what? me? do I look like I’m on financial aid?”

From the financial aid FAQs on Lehigh’s website

I guess half does not count as a lot of people.

lucky2010, usually reviewing the common data set figures for Lehigh will give you a better picture of Lehigh’s financial aid than talking to a couple students on campus, don’t you think?
