Im starting school soon (I hope) I did all of my fasfa I got approve but I logged in my college website and went to check if my fasfa and loans were in but nothing came out it well the only thing that showed up is that I had $000 I’m really freaking out BC I really need it I can’t afford college. Could it be that I still haven’t registered for my classes ? Will it show up the? Someone pls reply
Your FAFSA has been processed by the federal program to determine if you are eligible for a Pell grant and the next step is up to the financial aid department at your college to use that information and prepare a package for you. Usually the school will let you know when the package
is ready for you and it will have line items in it like grants, loans, work study, etc. You may just be looking online at something that isn’t finished yet. But don’t hesitate to call the financial aid dept and ask them! Good luck to you.
oh, also, it should show up long before you register for classes, because students need to see their packages to help them decide where to attend college.

When you say you are starting “soon”, does that mean you will be a freshman in fall 2015. If so, your financial aid package will be available to you in time to make a matriculation decision by May 1. The FAFSA you comoleted for that is the 2015-2016 FAFSA.
If you are starting college NOW…then you would have needed to do the 2014-2015 FAFSA.
When are you actually beginning college?
