So I've heard back from all the schools I have applied to and here are my results:
Accepted : San Jose State, San Diego State, Long Beach State, Cal Poly SLO, UC San Diego (as a undeclared major), UC Santa Barbara ( as a Computer Engineering major).
Waitlisted: UC Davis
Rejected: UCLA
I was accepted to each one as a Civil Engineering major but I may want to switch to a different form of engineering . I am truly not sure which engineering field I want to get into. I know SLO has the best reputation but I do hear it's hard to switch majors. Every one of these colleges have their strengths and I just want to pick the one that is the best for my future. I am planning to visit all of them before the end of April. Any help/info would help.

When you visit, ask about switching majors from one engineering program to another. Find out how many of the core classes that you will have your first year will be general ones that apply to all engineering majors, and how many will be specific for the major that you have been accepted into.
