Im not one of those amazing Ivy League students but im applying to UPenn early decision
My other choices are NYU, Lehigh, Cornell, and (I really hope not because i dont like large classes and state schools) but Rutgers.

What do you want to study?
How much can your family afford to pay?
What is your EFC?

If you don’t like large schools/classes, I can’t imagine why you are applying to NYU, which has almost 22k undergrads. And Rutgers is not a safety if you aren’t prepared to go there.

Well I like NYU despite the amount of students it has. UPenn is a perfect fit for me because it is not too liberal however i have flexibility when it comes to classes and it isnt too big. I am considering rutgers for a safe school because I get a full scholarship if I go to the honors program.

Cornell is a private school but it has pretty large classes, especially for the first one or two years when you’re taking lots of intro classes. It might be in the middle of nowhere but it’s still a fairly large school. I would recommend looking at more liberal arts colleges if you’re trying to avoid large classes. However, few if any LAC’s fit in a list with NYU, Cornell, UPenn, and Rutgers.
