i am not really sure how to go about my essay. A brief backround -- I am white from kansas with a 3.77 (low i know) and terrible test scores. I have more than 30 college credits from a community college. I am involved captain of my cheerleading squad, and president of My Debate/Forensics program and a national qualifier, and i will be coaching a little league cheerleading program. I am involved in several other clubs as well.

My dream is UPenn, i would absolutely love to come to this school. But i have had a couple pretty trying circumstances. My brother drowned and my best friend commited suicide. I need to inform an application commitee but i dont think the essay is the best place to do this, i was thinking i should write a letter. I have been trying to start a grievance/anti-bullying club at my school and it has become a really important issue. Should i write my essay about this or about being a cheerleading debator. I thought it could be about how i was kind of upset about being put into debate because i thought i would get made fun of but ended up loving it. Which would be better
