I need help

It's two weeks into school and I'm already failing precalculus. I've gone for after school help, used HotMath to try and learn the lessons better, gotten tutoring from other math teachers and with all of that I'm still failing the quizzes (I count Ds as failing) and spending 3 hours a night doing only a few pre-calc homework problems and getting them wrong. To make matters worse, my teacher (who I like, he's a good teacher but not the best) is leaving in a few weeks and we're getting a completely new teacher. Knowing my school, he/she will be a first year college grad who doesn't know math from their elbow. Even if they turn out to be a good teacher their homework policies, number of grades they take, after school availability, etc are all up in the air. Now, my teacher said bombing two quizzes won't prevent you from getting an A, but I've already bombed two and as such I have to do very well on all subsequent assignments to pull one out. After looking at all this, I think my only option is to drop the class. I'm already taking AP Stats so my guidance counselor told me it shouldn't be difficult to do but the only things available are Study Hall and Teacher Assistant. She said neither of these look very good to colleges, especially study hall, but since I'm taking 5 APs they might understand but with the colleges I'm applying to it's still a chance to take. So either way I go I'm facing serious risks, is there any advice you guys have to offer?

P.S. Sorry for the long post.

Take the study hall. You already have FIVE APs. I’m a junior, also aiming high, and I have 4 APs and a scheduled off period. I promise, colleges will understand. The real issue is that you will eventually need precalc (preferably in high school). Maybe you could take it next summer?

What grade are you in?
If you’re a senior, do not drop the class, because you need to have at least pre calc under your belt or college is gonna suck for you.

If you’re a junior, I probably still wouldn’t drop it because when all is said and done, you NEED to know calculus to get through college. It’s not gonna get easier anytime soon, so you might as well buckle down now and learn the material.

I’m math-dyslexic as well and barely scraped through Alg 2/Trig with a B+ but I’m still taking Calc AB next year

I’m a senior, and why do I need calc in college? I’m planning on majoring in Human Biology (preferably Emory’s Anthropology and Human Biology major).
