I'm in 3 non credited community college classes. I will be out of 2 of them in the second semester which means I'll be in 1 non credited class in the 2nd semester. I was looking at WKU to transfer to, it says High School transcripts and ACT/SAT test scores will be required for students with fewer than 24 hours earned. What exactly does that mean? Does it just mean I have to have 24 hours worth of classes? Or 24 credits of classes to transfer without sending my SAT/ACT which I don't want to do because my scores were awful along with my HS transcript. So my question to you is, Will I have 24 hours at the end of my freshman year with 3 non credited classes for the 1st semester and only 1 the 2nd semester? I'll post what ever I need to for you guys to help. I'm kinda uneducated about the whole college stuff because my parents didn't go to college and I'm just looking for a better life and some help. So please if you know what I'm talking about help me out.

It’s not possible to answer since you haven’t stated the total number of credit and noncredit classes you’re taking each semester. And because we (at least I) don’t know if WKU will accept the noncredit courses towards the 24 units.

For questions like the one above, you should call WUK and ask them. We can help about some things, but the best way to get absolutely correct answers about specific school requirements is to call the school.

If it’s 24 transferable credit which I am assuming it is then you will have a difficult time earning that much units in just one semester.

^I think the OP is planning on 1 yr at CC.
