So, I was accepted to both USF and UCF for the fall, and for a really long time I was having a hard time deciding between the two, until the may 1st deadline approached and I ended up choosing UCF. I was pretty happy with my decision but now I'm starting to have second thoughts and I'm kind of not wanting to go there as much, but I have no idea what to do. I've already paid my deposit but is there any way I can defer my enrollment or any other solution to this problem? Please help I'm so lost now and I'd appreciate any advice

Why are you having second thoughts? That might affect the advice you get.

If you genuinely think you made a mistake and want to attend USF after all, call USF admissions and ask if it is too late to change your mind. If they will still offer you a spot and any financial aid you had been awarded, then you can just tell UCF you are not coming after all. You will lose any admissions deposit you have made (and maybe your housing deposit if there was a separate one). But this happens more than you think…

If this is just “cold feet”… which LOTS of seniors have at about this time, then I say go give it a try in the fall.

I just kind of feel like I made the decision based on what others thought and wasn’t thinking about myself enough, but it may just be cold feet too. I’m really honestly not sure what I want to do at all so I’m just feeling lost

Well… no one out here can help you with an answer that vague. Try making a list of the pros and cons of going to UCF. Post your list out here and you might get better advice. I wouldn’t worry too much about what other people think (they may be right!), but you need to organize the thoughts in your own head and figure out what YOU think.
