For example, if you are writing an essay or speech for a class and you need help, opinions, admonishment, will it be considered cheating or wrong to ask for help online? I'm need help seeking advice and opinions on what I should add to my speech, and I don't think it is against morality to do so online. I'm just wondering what your views are and what college professors would think if a student of theirs got help and used opinions of others online.

Anyways, I'm writing a informative/didactic speech and I would love for you guys to help me out with how I should improve it and make it sound more interesting so that my audience will enjoy it. Please PM me and I will send you my speech.

It's okay if you ask people to edit your essay for grammar/spelling, but it is cheating if they write any part of your essay.

Oh okay, but what if you can't think about something to write?

Also, what headings do you guys usually put on your assignments, and on which side? Is there a strict format that you need to follow in college? Which format do you prefer and why?

Here's my current heading format:

(Left hand side)

Last name, First name
Class name
Period #
Date (mm/dd/yy)

I don't know why I'm asking this, probably because I'm somewhat of a perfectionist. Yeah, anyways I want to see what kinds of headings are out there and which ones most people use and lastly, be able to stick to one!

Well, I always use MLA format for my headings (we have to at my high school).

(left hand side)

First Name Last name
Teacher's Name
Class Name
Day Month Year

So it might look something like this:

John Doe
Mrs. Smith
Honors English
01 January 2007
