I'm currently a second year community college student intending to transfer sometime next year.

I'm completely lost as to what school I should choose to go to. My original intention was to major in Japanese, but then though Linguistics would probably be better for me in the long run, with a minor in either soc or psych.

My plans after I earn a BA is to go to Japan through the JET program and teach English for two years or so, gain teaching credentials (from CSUFULL), and then obtain a master's degree while teaching.

I know that I could transfer to UCLA if I really wanted to, but I don't really want to move out of my parents' house yet, and attending UCLA would ensure my moving out. I'm planning on transferring to Cal State Fullerton, but CSUFULL really mostly known for business, communications, and teaching.

I was also thinking that I could attend CSUFULL for a BA (I hear that if you plan to go on to a graduate degree that it really doesn't matter where you get your undergrad) and then go to UCLA for a graduate degree, but their selectivity really intimidates me, and I wouldn't want to be teaching in the Los Angeles School District.

I'm also thinking that I may have the impulse to change my major, as it has already changed 3 or 4 times in the past two years. (I'm sort of stuck between a career in advertising or teaching)

I'm stuck between choosing title and prestige and convenience of commute and price.

Help?
