<p>I have a 750-1000 word MLA style compare and contrast essay due Wednesday afternoon 7/29 in my advanced english college class.</p>
<p>I always have trouble finding a topic for essays and papers.</p>
<p>The instructor said no sources are needed for this paper and it can be wrote from my own knowledge.</p>
<p>I like sports (NBA & NFL), science (space type stuff) and video games (playstation). But i'm having trouble coming up with something to write about.</p>

<p>I was thinking about compare and contrasting sports and video games…</p>
<p>Some compare/contrast ideas coming off the top of my head:
-Anti-federalism/Jeffersonian democracy and today’s libertarianism (if you want to use sources, this would be good).
-parenting values from a couple different cultures/ethnicities/socio-economic status or student personalities from different cultures/…
-Moon exploration versus mars exploration.
-video game culture from 25 years ago (or whenever the Atari first came out or something) versus today.
-lifestyles of different sport athletes (golfers and basketball players are clearly different, or maybe pick something like NBA vs. NFL or something else)</p>
<p>Or your idea. Maybe focus on the professionals, the amatuer players, the followers, basically the entire cultures of these two different, yet both competitive, realms.</p>
