Hi there! Any opinions/ideas would be appreciated. I'm trying to figure out some good college matches to apply to.
I'm looking for a college with a really liberal feel and extremely creative atmosphere where all the kids are really "smart" but not in a quantum physics or advanced calculus without a calculator kind of way. Creative genius not mathematical genius-type kids. (history, reading, writing, literature, business) A place where parties aren't the entire social scene. Must be LGBT friendly, not a "snooty rich kid" environment, and an academically challenging course load. Preferably not in a rural setting, not math/science focused. Looking to stay in the Northeast but California is a possibility as well. All ideas welcome! I have a 3.9 GPA and a 2100 SAT. Thank you :)

Dickinson, Lafayette, Williams, Sarah Lawerence (all unfortunately kind of “rural”) Swarthmore, Haverford, Franklin and Marshall, Hamilton

Hampshire, Kenyon, Vassar, Macalester, Hamilton, Middlebury, Oberlin
(+ the above )

For California look at the Claremont Consortium Colleges: Pomona, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, Scripps. Harvey Mudd is part of it too, but those would be the quantum physics geniuses :)
