Applied ED SEAS UPenn (don't tell me I'm in for sure though, because I know that nothing's sure when it comes to Ivies, esp. with me :))

gmman, i hear you about the ivies (Cornell Engineering ED.) That being said, if you don't get in ED, it's by chance. That being said, you will get into one of your "reaches."

Well, honestly, I don't care. I like Penn overall as a school more than Cornell, and I'm certainly not going to limit myself to just engineering courses :)

I'm not dissing Cornell either--I just don't want to spend my next four years in the coldest place on earth ;) I'd probably be applying Cornell ED is it was 1. near a city and 2. not so damn cold ;)

Thanks, I was thinking about Rice, how's the location? I don't know much about the school other than that it's a good school with a good engineering program.. and it's in Texas (that part makes me nervous, but I don't like judging soley on the state it's in so :p)
