Please be honest. I need grounded motivation.

I went from a 145 PSAT to a 2150 SAT (610 CR 760 M 780W) and now Im working on getting CR to 700.

not anything near as big a jump as the poster before me, but i went 1570 PSAT to 1900 SAT.

Still 330+, which is better than not lol

haha, from a 1610 SAT to a 2050 SAT. funny thing is, i didn’t bother preparing for the second sat test, while i prepared a LOT for the first one, yet i scored higher on the second one (this was after a year).

how did you do that?

Do you want every step, every single step?

wel,i scored a 135 on the PSAT as a sophomore.(31 CR,66 M,38 W) 165 as a junior (48 CR,58 M,59 W), first SAT 1780 (500 CR,680 M,600 W). and 2080 on the last practice test 3 days ago.(620 CR,770 M,690 W)

Do you think it’s possible for me to get a 2200+ on the SAT which im going to take in Oct?

how did you improve your scores?

last october in my sophomore year, I scored a 1360, I got like a 42 in math 45 in cr and 49 in writing

For Math just learn the concepts, and for writing the grammar rules. I’m sure if you study those you can easily get 600 each for those two sections. There is no reason to get under a 500, other than not knowing the rules. CR is a bit more difficult. Grab a prep book and start studying all the concepts.

Alright. Btw I really appreciate all the help you gave me yesterday.

Later on I took a practice psat test from collegeboard and I got a 1580 after reading the student guide. I wanna get an 1800. Is this goal in my reach?

No problem. 1800 is very doable if you study - Good luck.

definitely. If you are ‘‘interested’’ to come to this forum that often,i think you are definitely motivated enough to study to get an 1800.(at least)

(also did around 10 pr tests, but I personally feel that this did not help at all)

Yess!!!

books alone wont get you a 2300, just sayin

^This makes me curious. The “books” you are talking about, do they include the BB?

@allcollegereach: How long did it take for you to improve this much?

did you really ask if i considered the blue book a book??
