Your low SAT is going to hurt :(. Other than that, bump…
I think Vandy, Wake, UCLA, NYU are reaches for you. That doesn’t mean you shouldnt apply to any of them. Remember, you have 0% chance if you don’t apply.

is that SAT CR/M or CR/M/W?

Awww =( thank you soo much. I am really gonna try to get my SAT up as much as i can this coming October. Also, i didn’t point out that i am applying Early decision for Vandy.

grskier: it is with Writing

Kuya, I think UCI and UCD will be reaches as well, unless you can raise that SAT score. Don’t know much about Syracuse and Rochester. You take a fairly rigorous course load and have a solid GPA yet score low on the SAT. You may want to put more effort into taking more practice tests and/or get some tutoring help. Also, try taking the ACT and see if that helps increase your score so you at least have a shot at UCI. Good luck.

Wake Forest is a test optional school, which means you don’t have to submit your test scores if you don’t want to. Wake has quite a long supplement as part of their application for admission and if you can come up with a great application, you might have a chance. If you are an under-represented minority at Wake that also might help. Good luck.

thanks everybody… i will take the ACT and hope for the best and also try to take the SAT as well to get a better score.

URochester is also a reach, just to add to tutydau’s list…

From what I know about the UC’s, I think all of them will be difficult to get into based on your SAT score.

the average sat’s at all of those schools are 1800 and above with several of them being above 2000…

Oh dang, mind as well go apply for community =(

Most likely rejection from Vanderbilt
