I need safeties!!! please help

Ok... I pretty much know what schools I am going to apply too..... but I need some safeties!! All my schools are reaches......I really need some safeties. I live in Arizona....but I really want to go out of state. So I'll give you my stats and hopefully you can give me some suggestions.... BTW I don't want a HUGE (over 35 thou) school.... and if all possible I want to be near the ocean

Umm here are my stats so you can get an idea of what a safety would be for me (Not ASU) okk
I go to prestigous school
i have a 3.8 weighted gpa
so far i have taken 5 honors classes and 2 Ap

4 years of football
4 years of baseball
club volleyball
somewhere around 150 hours of community service so far
my last psat was some where around 1800
I'm currently taking a class to try to bump that score up
Ummmm,,,, key club,,,,best buddies,,,,,,National Honors Society

Okay please any suggestions would be awesome!!!

Best Buddies. Cool program. If you put a lot of effort into it, it should make for a good essay.

It's hard to make a recommendation of a safety for you without knowing your financial situation, particularly whether you are in a position to pay out-of-state tuition at a public university.

ummm... My parents would be in a posistion to pay out of state tuition....
Ya... it really is a cool program
Have any suggestions?

Near the ocean: Santa Clara, San Diego State, U of Rhode Island, U of Miami.

Not near the ocean, but decent places to spend 4 years: Baylor, SMU, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado, Arkansas, U of Denver.

I think that Pepperdine is near the ocean (in Malibu). Also, look at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL (it's small though).

Eckerd College in St Pete, Florida is right on the beach and is a great school
Read about it in Colleges that Change Lives, by Loren Pope

thanks everyone....
But would you really consider U Miami.....Pepperdine...and Santa Clara safeties????

utampa could be considered a safety
