James Madison University in Virginia.

washington and lee

Addicted, Take a look at Skidmore, Sarah Lawrence, Bard, Vassar, Hamilton and Smith. Not sure if they are safeties or matches, but they are all what I would classify as "less selectives".

you have similar stats to me, I'm looking at Boston University as a safety

momrath's suggestions were good. You might also want to look at the women's colleges in VA-- Sweet Briar, Randolf-Macon, Hollins. Some others that pop to mind that might be good would be Dickinson, Connecticut College, Clark, and UMass-Amherst.

check out College of Wooster (OH). . . maybe Earlham (IN)

Mary Washington

Huh? Why on god's green earth would somebody from a state with a good public university (U. Maryland, College Park) want to pay out of state tuition at UMass-Amherst?

That suggestion makes no sense to me at all.

With a few notable exceptions, going to somebody else's state university is a bad value, both from an admissions standpoint and a cost standpoint. Especially when the out-of-state U. isn't even considered to be particularly good.

How the crap does one get over a 5. GPA? Are your APs 6.?

I'm checking again, and I still can't see where it says that she's from Maryland... just because she's applying to St. Mary's?
