I need safety schools?

If you read my other post, you know I'm a rising senior interested in nursing. I've found a few more schools that I'm interested in-I'm also looking for safeties. I'd be more than happy to chance back if you include your link.

GPA: 3.3 unweighted, honors and pre-AP courses. Slight upward trend. One C due to a bad teacher-the average for her classes was a D+, and my GC will explain this in my recommendation.

SAT I: 720 CR, 630 M, 690 W

EC's: Student Council (9-10) SADD (10-11) Christ's Closet (free clothing store, 9-10) Part time job (paid for my tuition since grade 9).

Volunteer hours: well over 300.

My intended major is nursing.

I've got a reach:
Northeastern

And I've got a few matches:

UMASS Amherst, UCONN, Quinnipiac, Fairfield Penn State, Slippery Rock, Endicott, and Stony Brook

But no safeties! Does anyone have any ideas?

What are you interested in as far as type of school? Small or large student population? Location? Based on your desired major, and assuming you are looking for northeastern schools, here are my recommendations:

-Hofstra
-URI
-UNH
-Lesley
-UMass Dartmouth
-Rutgers
-Scranton

In particular, I want to recommend CUNY Hunter. It has one of the most well regarded nursing programs in the entire country, with relatively easy admission and a rediculously cheap tuition. Additionally, some of the schools that you mentioned as matches could probably be considered low matches or safeties with your stats. Stony Brook, Slippery Rock, and Quinnipiac are all relatively safe for you. Plus, I don’t think Northeastern is a reach with your stats. You seem to have good ECs, an SAT score that is well above average, and a GPA that is overlookable, if not on par. I know people who have been admitted to Northeastern with lower stats than you.

As for safeties, more information would allow me to offer better advice. Do you require financial aid, and what is your family’s financial situation? What state do you hold residency? Did you take a rigorous courseload with many honors/AP classes?

I’m from MA. We make about 70,000 a year. I’ve got two APs, all other classes are honors/honors 1 (a weird pre-AP level)

Checked out UCONN today. It was…okay
