Yes, a bit strange? What should I do. I've known that she kinda liked me for awhile, but she never told me. I helped her through suicide and she says that she owes her life to me... I think I have feelings for her too... but would that ruin our friendship? or make it better? We know WAY too much about eachother and are so "friendly" that people think we're already going out.... I'm confused... help?

My best friend became my girlfriend now of six years.

It can work out.

It can definately work out man, I say go for it. If anything, you two will become closer (well... duh), and if it doesn't.. because it doesn't always work out.... it doesnt have to ruin your friendship at all. What matters then is how both of you decide to act. So to recap... it can only hurt your friendship if you let that happen.

Go for it! I was friends with my BF before we got together. I told him how I felt about him one drunken night, we got together, that was 3 months ago.

Friends make the best lovers!

Fo Gor it!

i only date ppl that i've known as friends...so we're more comfortable together

^ ditto (weedboy)

Definitely go for it. It's better to know who you're going to date - it's more comforting to go out on a date with them. (I watch too much Law & Order: SVU)

A relationship won't necessarily ruin your friendship if it doesn't work out.

You guys should make Usher's "Lovers and Friends" as your couple song.

yup i agree with everything everyone else has said.....and i mean c'mon...its so much better if ur friends with the person you go out with...i can't see myself going out with someone that i'm not friends with....it just doesn't make sense to me...lol anyways my point is YEAHHHHH YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT :D

For a similar reason, I've resolved NOT to listen to Sonata Arctica's "Shamandalie"... it's about what happens when a relationship between friends goes bad.

light each other on fire!

Dude, get la** and have fun.

hahah. I used to like one of my best friends, and she liked me, but we decided against since we were such close friends... I wish we did go out, but either way we still have a good relationship.

I like Ludacris and LJ and Usher, but Lovers & Friends is a horrible song. Make Queen's "You're my Best Friend" your song.

You should most definitely go for it... I dated my best friend for about a month and it was great and then it got really bad and we dont even talk anymore. But anyway its worth the risk and if you cant survive as friends then you were gonna stop being friends sooner or later anyway.... just dont cheat on her

Nice thanks for all the responses... so we're going to "try it" for awhile and see how it goes... i related it to buying something on an infomercial and u get a 30 day trial period... it's something like that except not as shallow haha... but yeah we'll see how that goes and if it turns bad llike terrbhs's then we can "send it back and get a refund"... yes it's terribly cheesy but i think it will work...... again thanks!

I've dated several friends, and after breaking up with them, we are still good friends. For example, friends with a guy for 1 year, then best friends for 1 year, dated for around 8 months, back to being great friends! Definately go for it.

"send it back and get a refund".... are u crazy?? u cant do that with girls, they dont have the ability to let things go... if things go bad there is no way around it, your either gonna have 2 apoligize(even if u didnt do anything) and deal with it or just let the friendship die. A "refund" offer is not a real option
