I need some advice on college interviews.

<p>Well, I suppose the biggest question is how do I prepare for an interview? What kind of questions should I expect from the people there to ask me? </p>

<p>I'm also curious to know how I should dress--what's too formal and what's too casual? I plan on scheduling an interview with my top college choice in about a month and I'm in a complete frenzy. I don't have any formal clothing aside from some button up shirts and a few pairs of jeans.</p>

<p>Argh, I'm really wondering whether or not the interview is really worth doing. Any advice from the more seasoned members of CC?</p>

<p>There are a lot of threads on this, I think, if you search. I think most people advise being comfortable and not too dressed up, but not in jeans. The questions are usually fairly easy----why are you interested in the school, what’s your favorite class. Sometimes the questions like “how would your friends describe you”. Make sure you have good questions for them that aren’t answered on their website.</p>
