<p>Im a pakistani student, doing my Alevels from the university of cambridge..I might apply to some schools in The united states..Im not sure if all of you are familiar with O or A levels grades but I managed to get AABCCCDD in my O(ordinary) level and AAA in my advanced subsidary..I still have a year to go..I was wondering if I have a good chance of getting into a university in the U.S?I plan on studying economics and international relations and want to work in the United Nations..My extracirriculars include;

volunteer work for the victims of the pakistan earthquake 2005
initiated another donations program in my school for the earthquake victims in 2008,we visited the victims in the hospital etc
i participated in and help organized a law moot trail in which i played a lawyer from the denfence( the case was on human trafickking)
after the 2004 tsunami earthquake i wrote a letter to the indonesian embassy along with the donations from our school
i founded the UN club in my school which hasnt really achieved much as yet but were getting there
im part of my schools basketball team
im part of the yearbook comittee
apart from that i have helped organized many school events such as welcomes, farewells and festivals..i have also modelled
i also do alot of reading and writing particularly politics and world affairs (Currently reading the end of poverty)
i plan on doing volunteer work this year and getting some work experience..
what else should i involve myself in at this point?
Also, If I start studying for my SATS right now will I be able to do well In January?I mean is that enough time?I want to get above 1800..</p>
