I need some advice!

<p>Hey everyone, </p>

<p>I'm really interested in IR and wanted to get some of the wonderful advice from the people on CC! I just declared a major in AAPTIS and want to add a second concentration in either International Studies or Political Science. Which do you guys think I should choose? I know the Political Science department is very good, but I have been hearing good things about the new IS major. However, I have reservations because of how new it is. Do you think it would matter which of those two I would pick if I have my sights set on grad school (either law or getting a master's)? Thanks so much!</p>

<p>I am in the poli sci major and have coincidentally taken a very strong international focus in my course selections, so that is an option (though you do have to take credits in the other areas of poli sci as well). I don’t know anything about the IR program so I can’t really advise what you should pick. If it were me I would be comparing the requirements and my course choices and see what looked more appealing.</p>

<p>I don’t think that it matters which of the two you pick if you have your sights set on grad school. It doesn’t matter what you major in to go to law school.</p>
